When it comes to experimental fashion and not sticking to safe and tried trends, Taapsee Pannu seems to be setting a new benchmark with every appearance she makes. From rocking a simple plaided pant-suit to jazzing up a traditional sari, the ‘Pink’ actor has, more often than not, caught us pleasantly off-guard with her fashion statements. So when she walked into the airport in printed sari pants that she paired with a black-collared shirt doubling up as a blouse, Pannu managed to spin her magic, yet again.
Leaving her beautiful wild curls untamed and open, Pannu looked beautiful in her custom made sari pants from Aapro Label. The floral-printed take on pants and the humble six yards was paired with a comfortable and simple black collared shirt that she wore as a blouse. She chose to keep it simple with a pair of glasses as an accessory and by smartly teaming her outfit with a pair of black brogues keeping it chic. In case you want to experiment with your formal looks for an event at work, this can be an interesting way to turn up (and turn heads).
This is not the first time Pannu chose to redefine ways of wearing a sari. While she wore a grey woollen knit sari from Nikita Mhaisalkar’s SERIF Festive 2017-18 collection to Kaun Banega Crorepati, giving the six-yards a wonderful twist and at another event, wore an interesting pastel orange spin on sari with monochrome white silk seperates from Urvashi Kaur’s latest collection.
